What is the RRP?
The recommended retail price on all our charms is a minimum of twice the wholesale price, however, all charms are priced by weight only. That is to say that there is no distinction between charms that are movable, 3D or exceptionally detailed. Therefore, it is necessary to assess pricing on the charms merits and not soley on the charms purchase price. i.e A flat- backed plain charm with a weight of 2 grams will be identical in cost price to a movable 3D charm with a weight of 2 grams.
Your retail web site is not charging the RRP for all charm designs, why?
Our Retail web site is competing within the market that we are trading, namely the internet.
I would like to purchase on a Sale or Returns Basis, may I?
As detailed within our terms of trading, we do not offer a Sale or Return policy. We do not offer this services because our charms are sold by weight and our prices are determined by the Silver Index Price on the day of purchase. Therefore, as equally as our prices may rise, they may also fall, depending on the Silver Price Index. A Sale or Returns Policy can not be applied under this pricing structure. We do not offer a 'samples' services. We recommend that wholesale customers purchase any required 'samples' directly from our retail site at www.jewelleryenchantments.co.uk
I am an EBay seller only and as a result do not have a trading name or trading references, can I apply for a wholesale account ?
If you are trading and producing a profit, you are required to declare profits to HM Revenue & Customs and therefore, you will have a business/trading/company name, be that a registered company name or a trading name as declared on your individual Tax Return. Therefore, if you do not have this information we would not make available a wholesale account. We are required to sell to businesses/companies/traders and to invoice accordingly. We can not invoice to individuals.
I am starting up a new business, may I open a wholesale account?
Starting up in business still requires a trading or business name and some form of trading intent, i.e a web site, a market traders Licence Number or a shop lease. We require such proof of your intent to trade. We will authorise wholesale access for a 3 month period only, at which point, we must be furnished with proof that you are actually trading, or the account will be closed.
Please consider that we receive e-mails on a daily basis in regards of individuals contemplating or 'having an interest' in starting an on-line jewellery business. This 'interest' is not sufficent proof of trading intent.
Requesting an account and then e-mailing a VAT number across to us does NOT provide third party evidence of any kind.
Why are you so strict in respects of selling to bonifide traders only?
If everyone could 'simply' obtain products at wholesale prices, there would be no place for genuine traders who make a living from selling. We strive to support our retailers and to serve them in a way that increases their business potential, we do not seek to allow members of the general public to simply obtain products at wholesale prices.
Perhaps if people stopped trying to use the same old web sites as references and copying VAT numbers of the top of B&Q receipts, we might stop needing to be so very sure we are supplying bonifide traders!
What is a TURN/EORI Number?
In many cases, smaller business are below the threshold for VAT Registration. However, if the business is importing goods from outside of the EU, these businesses will hold a Trader Unique Reference Number / Economic Operator Registration and Identification number, issued by HM Revenue & Customs. This number is acceptable to provide proof of trading.
I have completed a request for an account and have not heard anything, why?
We have over twenty accounts with whom we are uable to communicate with as the e-mail address entered on the account is invalid and e-mails are being returned as mailbox invalid or unavailable. Please e-mail us directly at jewholesale@gmail.com so we can correct any possible typing errors on account information.
Do you have trade accounts that allow me to pay after my goods have been delivered? We do not operate a monthly trade account facility. We will not dispatch goods until funds have credited our account. Our prices are determined by the Index Price for pure silver and therefor it is not possible to offer credit accounts when the prices may fluctuate between the day the goods were sold and the day payment was actually received.
I filled out a wholesale account application and included a Company name and a VAT number, but my account was not approved. why not?
We check that Company's are registered with Companys House and we check all VAT Number are genuine. In doing so, we are able to determine the registered address of any given Company. If the billing and delivery address you supply is not identical to the actual Company details, we will not approve the account. We are still wondering why a plastics manufacturer, a telesales marketing company and high street shoe shop would be looking to open a trade account with a sterling silver charm wholesaler!
I am looking at the possibilities of starting up an internet business selling sterling silver charms, if I did this, would you continue to supply me?
This represents competition to our Retail Web Site and in our opinion, competition is part of being in business. We will supply any genuine trader, even if that trader is trading on the internet. We will however, take immediate legal action against any such trader who copies any part of the content, pictures, logos or an other intellectual property from either of our web sites. All content of both our sites is copyright protected, as is our brand name 'Jewellery Enchantments'. In February 2007 we took such legal action and would not hesitate to do so again.

Does every order I place need to be £75 in value?
Yes. As all genuine shop and business owners will appreciate, all wholesalers have a minimum order value, ours is £75.00.
Photographs - Jewellery Enchantments photographs are used on their retail web site and as a result, the photographs are copyrighted to preserve the uniqueness of their retail web site. Photographs are not available to trade customers.
Do you Drop Ship?
We do not Drop Ship, that is to say that we do not send goods to customers on behalf of retailer. As retailers ourselves, Drop Shipping could create a confict of interest.
Do you have a paper catalogue?
We do not produce a paper catalogue. Due to the fact that we increase our range regularily, a paper catalogue would be out of date as soon as it was printed. We will however, for retail outlets only, supply a copy of our charm designs in photograph page format, so that shop owners may show customers the range available to them.
How quickly do you dispatch?
We aim to dispatch as quickly as possible, however, we guarantee to dispatch within seven days, as stated in our Terms Of Trading. If this changes at any time, a note will be clearly visable on the Home Page. Our busiest trading period is from October through to early December and during this period we close our wholesale web site to new traders. We seek to support our account holding traders at this time and will not support traders who apply for an account to simply 'cash in' on the Christmas trade, at which time we and our traders are exceptionally busy and in need of a quick turn around of orders.
I placed an order and have not received any further communication from Jewellery Enchantments, why?
If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation that your order has been received, please amend you e-mail settings to ensure that e-mails from jewholesale@gmail.com do not end up in your Spam mail. Following your Confirmation of Order, you will receive an e-mail invoice and once paid, advice of dispatch and tracking number. You will also not receive this e-mail if you do not change your e-mail settings to accept e-mails from us.
I am in need of items on your retail site that are not on your wholesale site;
In order to sell wholesale, we must purchase direct from the manufacturer and not other wholesalers, much of our retail stock is purchased from wholesalers, therefore, we can not wholesale these items to the trade. Where we struggle to meet retail demand for a charm design, we will not wholesale this charm design, as we can make no promise regarding continuity of supply. If continuity of supply is not an issue for you, please e-mail us directly.
If I purchase from the retail site, will I receive any discount and can I order from the wholesale site and combined an order from the retail site?
In respect of a discounts, the question is answered above and the simple answer is 'no'. We can not combine retail orders and trade orders. Different Terms of Trading are applicable to traders suppose to general members of the public and therefore, orders on the retail site and those on the wholesale site are covered by different laws, rules and regulations. Orders have to be processed seperately for this reason.
