Trading Terms;

We ship worldwide, however, we do not supply to the USA and Canada.  UK law is the applicable law.

Proof of Trade status is required. If you have a VAT, TURN or EORI number, please place in brackets next to your surname name when opening an account. Please note that the VAT Number must apply directly to the account information entered on your account. Copying the VAT  Number from a retail receipt will not suffice!  For those without VAT Registration, please provide two trade references that relate to the jewellery industry. Please note that Trade References will be checked.

NB We will only supply jewellery retailers, jewellery designs and similar.  We can not supply Etsy sellers, as the goods sold are governed by US Law and not UK Law.

We receive approximately five requests a day for wholesale accounts and discover that the details entered and provided are not from bonifide sources. VAT numbers are taken from various high street retail receipts and trade references are nothing more than names & addresses taken from other web sites. To protect our genuine traders, we will strive to ensure we only open accounts for genuine traders! Basically, if it was not for the fraudulent attempts to gain wholesale access, we would not need to ask genuine traders for satisfactory proof that they are re-selling. If customers requesting wholesale accounts can not understand our need for proof of reselling, then please do not request a wholesale account.

It is not the place of Jewellery Enchantments to explain to a web site owner as to why their web site does not legally meet Distance Selling Regulations and Trading Standards requirements and why, Jewellery Enchantments who are registered with Trading Standards, are unable to supply web sites that are not meeting the legal requirements of all Europe based web sites. Order Acceptance - Receipt of an eletronic message does not qualify our acceptance of your order, nor does it serve as a confirmation of sale. Jewellery Enchantments reserves the right to decline an order for any reason.

Order Cancellation - Customers must notify Jewellery Enchantments of an order cancellation within 24 hours of placing an order.  An order may not be cancelled after it has been dispatch.

Pricing -  Price and Availability is Subject to Change Without Notice. Jewellery Enchantments reserve the right to change, at any time, without prior notice the published prices.

As at 01/01/2011 - The price for sterling silver has almost doubled in the last four months, in addition the VAT rate changes on the 4th January. Whilst our Trade web site has been up-dated, it is taking sometime to up-date our retail web site. Therefore, for a few weeks goods on our retail web site may have a lesser value than wholesale prices. We will remove this notice once the retail web site has been updated.

NB; Jewellery Enchantments web site is hosted using OS Commerce software, which uses the USA system for calculating sales tax. The USA system allows for each item line to be rounded-up for the calculation of sales tax. Within the UK this is not the applied standard for VAT. Therefore, the Sub-Total and Total amount shown as being due will be incorrect. This matter is corrected BEFORE we issue wholesale customers with a payment invoice, and why it is that immediate payment is not requested from wholesale customers.

Payment Options; (Orders outside of the UK must be paid through Pay Pal) Please note we do not ship to the USA or Canada.

Please note that payment invoices are not sent to customers until their order is packed and ready for dispatch.

The e-mail address recorded on a wholesale account, must be the e-mail address to which the Pay Pal invoice is to be sent. For security and legal reasons, we are unable to send Pay Pal invoices to any e-mail address other than that which is detailed on the account.

Cheque/Bankers Draft - That being a cheque/bankers draft drawn from a UK Bank Account in GB Pounds Sterling. Please make cheques payable to "Jewellery Enchantments", full details are provided at check-out.

Postal Order - That being a form of payment available through UK Post Offices in GB Pounds Sterling.  Please make your Postal Orders payable to "Jewellery Enchantments" and cross the Postal Orders. Please use the Cheque option on the payment option screen.

Direct Bank Transfer - If you would like to transfer funds directly from your bank to our bank, please choose this option and you will be provided with all the details required for you to make a direct transfer during check-out. This option is only available to UK customers and funds must be received in GB Pounds Sterling.

Credit Cards & Debit Cards; We only accept Credit Cards and Debit Cards processed through Pay Pal to a maximum of £500 only. 

PayPal - That being a secure on-line facility that enables you to pay via Credit/Debit Card.   You do not have to be registered with PayPal to send us a payment. There is no charge to you, for using PayPal. You may check-out in any currency supported by Pay Pal.

Pay Pal offers a secure method by which Credit Card and Debit Card transactions can be processed.  No information is retained on or through our web site and we have no access to your personal information, this is only available to Pay Pal who are regulated by legal codes of conduct.

You do not need a Pay Pal account to make a one-off payment through Pay Pal. Simply follow the instructions given on the left hand side of the screen to process a one-off payment, however, you must make the shipping address available on the payment notification from Pay Pal.

If you decide you would like to change your method of payment: Please e-mail us by 'replying' to the Confirmation of Order we sent you and advise us of any changes you would like to make.   You may do this at anytime within the 'checkout' process.   We are aware that bank web sites and PayPal can be uncopperative at times!

Contract:   An order placed on the internet is as binding as any other purchase and once your order has been confirmed and sent, it forms a contract of sale. Should you decide you wish to cancel this contract, you may only do so before the order is dispatched. Please note that where all items are immediately available, orders can be dispatched within an hour of an order and payment being confirmed.

Sales Tax (VAT): Jewellery Enchantments, charge VAT on all prices shown, 20%. All import charges and country taxes due on international delivery shall be the sole responsibility of each customer.

1. General Principle of Contract

a) These terms and conditions for a contract between you, the customer and Jewellery Enchantments. When you register with Jewellery Enchantments. On placing an order with us you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

a) JewelleryEnchantments.com will only supply to the trade or for trade purposes. Trade is defined as a retail outlet, where it is the main or sole occupation of the trader. In special circumstances JewelleryEnchantments.com will sell to registered retail customers where there is a history of large multiple purchases of a specific design that is used for Charity or religious purposes. This history being provided on our retail site JewelleryEnchantments.co.uk     

b) In order to assist us in defining genuine traders all customers wishing to purchase must provide to verifiable trade refrences. To include the full company name, address and telephone number. If you are advserse to providing these details we reserve the right not to trade with you. Information supplied will only be used to verify your trade status. Customer who are VAT registered may instead provide a valid VAT number.

c) All items remain the property of Jewellery Enchantments until they are paid for in full, along with any postal charges, VAT, or any other charge levied in accordance with our Trading Terms. If a payment is subject to a 'Charge Back' is referred to 'drawer' by their bank, then the complete order remains our property until paid for in full. Credit Card payments which result in a charge back will be subject to a £10.00 charge, that being the cost to us and administration fees for the charge back processing.

3. Returns

a) Any returns, as a result of damages, ommissions or other errors must be notified to us within 3 days of receipt of the order. If notification is outside of this period, we may refuse to accept any returns. We do not operate a Sale or Returns Policy.

b We will only accept returns for faulty of damaged goods. This is a wholesale web site under wholesale trading terms.

4. Payment

a) We resevere the right not to dispatch items paid for by cheque until such time as the cheque has cleared and the funds have credited our account. This may delay the dispatch of your order for up to fourteen days.

b) We will not dispatch items paid for by BACS until such time as the funds have credited our account.

c) We reserve the right to take action to recover any monies owed by means of Civil Action or by transferring the debt to our Debt Collection Agency. 1st Locate  -  trace collect debt recovery agencies.   UK TEL: 0113-297 7500

5. Delivery

a) At the point that we dispatch your order you will receive an e-mail advising you that the order has been dispatched and the tracking number applicable to that order. We will also provide details of the expected delivery date. Customers must notify us within 2 days of the specified date of delivery, where their delivery does not arrive. We reserve the right not to seek a claim for shipping charges against the carrier, where notification is received after the 2 day period.

b) We reserve the right to amend shipping charges without notice.

6. Backorders

a) We will not generally back order items for you. Either an order will be held until all goods are available, or orders will be sent and unavailable items omitted. We will e-mail you and request your advice. Additional shipping charges will be applied to back orders, unless back ordered items are sent with another order. 

7. VAT

a) VAT is applicable, we are VAT registered.

b) Customers outside of the EU will be subject to import duty and local taxes. These are the sole responsibility of the customer. Where a customer refuses to pay these charges and subsequently a package is returned to us, the customer will be responsible for any charges levied against us for return shipping costs and the re-stocking fee of 20% will be applied.

8. New Traders

a) New traders are defined as customers who can not provide proven trade status, for what ever reason. There is no available access to our web site by New Traders.

9. General Conditions

a) We take due care and attention in the manufacture of and the marketing of our products. If you purchase a product from us and find a saftey hazard please inform us asap so that we may take immediate action. 

b) We reserve the right to add to our inventory and to delete from our inventory any product without notice.

c) We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time with out notice. A copy is available on our web site at www.jewelleryenchantments.com.

This site and our retail site may contain links to other sites. Jewellery Enchantments accepts no responsibility for the content or operation of any other site.

11. Copyright

The entire contents of our site, written contents, graphics and photographs are the sole property of Jewellery Enchantments. They may not be copied under any circumstances. Please note that we use CopyScape and will receive notification of the re-publication of any part of our web site on the world wide web. We have and will take any required action to ensure that our interlectual proprty rights are maintained.  Our logo is copyrighted to the artist Jessica Galbreth @ www.fairyvisions.com. The product sold by Jewellery Enchantments is copyrighted and no adaptations may be made to the product for the purpose of resale, unless permission is obtained from the copyright owner.
